A penthouse designed for timeless comfort
Perched above the streets of Hasselt, Belgium, this refined penthouse brings together timeless materials, warm minimalism and contemporary comfort. Designed by Architime, the residence embraces a sophisticated architectural language where every detail contributes to a calm and effortless way of living.
From the very first moment, the residence feels serene and inviting. Soft natural tones, carefully selected textures and bespoke detailing create a harmonious atmosphere throughout the interior. Warm oak surfaces, elegant stone finishes and subtle bronze accents add richness and depth while maintaining a quiet architectural language.
The open living spaces embrace natural light and a strong connection to the outdoors. Expansive windows and sliding glass doors flood the apartment with daylight, blurring the boundaries between inside and out.
timeless design at the heart of the home
The kitchen forms the heart of the home. Clean lines, integrated elements and warm wooden cabinetry define a timeless composition. A large natural stone island anchors the space, inviting slow mornings, refined cooking and relaxed evenings overlooking the terrace. Every element blends seamlessly into the architecture, preserving the visual tranquillity of the residence.
Large windows frame views across the city while drawing natural light deep into the interior. Custom shutters, effortlessly controlled by the Basalte Sentido design switch, and elegant sliding doors offer privacy when needed, allowing the atmosphere to shift throughout the day.
The private areas continue the same restrained elegance. Bedrooms are designed as calm sanctuaries, wrapped in soft textures and muted colours that create a restful atmosphere. Bathrooms combine natural stone, warm lighting and refined detailing to evoke the feeling of a boutique hotel suite.
enhancing everyday living
The Basalte Sentido design keypads in bronze and brushed volcanic grey integrate seamlessly into the architecture, offering intuitive control of lighting, music and blinds throughout the penthouse.
Matching one-, two- and 4-gang Basalte sockets in the same metal finishes carry this design language throughout the residence. Thoughtfully integrated into walls and architectural details, they preserve the visual calm of the interior while adding a subtle layer of refinement. This meticulous attention to detail shapes an atmosphere of harmony and balance, where every element feels considered and technology becomes a natural part of the architecture.
Placed in the kitchen, the heart of the penthouse, Basalte iPad mount Eve Plus naturally finds its place within daily life. Running the Basalte Home app, it provides effortless access to every scene and function, from lighting and music to climate and comfort. Always charged and ready, it moves with the residents throughout the day, from following a favourite recipe at the kitchen island to unwinding in the living spaces beyond.
Its understated design complements the surrounding architecture, allowing the iPad to blend effortlessly into the interior when not in use. The result is a living experience where technology remains beautifully accessible while the focus stays on the home itself.
