Your mission is to...
You will grow the Basalte market share in the high-end residential market in the Munich region. With your enthusiasm, you will convince electricians and architects of the added value of our high-quality design solutions.
Back in the day, products for the intelligent home used to be very technical and non-aesthetic. The founders and current owners of Basalte strongly believed that this could be tackled differently. They boldly chose a different path, and believed that well thought-out products, combined with a timeless design could change the industry. You will have the honor of introducing this high-end design technology in the German market.
Installers, architects and end customers
The Basalte product portfolio is meant for the prime segment of the residential market. Therefore you can find Basalte in the most exclusive villas, super yachts and luxury hotels. In this area of the market, it is not uncommon that a lot of planning and changes precede the final installation. Therefore, proper follow-up on projects is key!
You will focus on installers that are active in the high-end residential market. Typically, they are technical specialists, who are working in house construction. You will get them enthusiastic about all products in the Basalte portfolio! This can either take place at the installer’s office, or in our showroom in Gent (BE) or Düsseldorf (Germany).
Furthermore, you will also visit the architects that work together with these electricians and to a lesser extent, the end clients themselves. That way, you can convince all parties involved in the project, which will eventually lead to more Basalte projects in the future.
On average you will work one day from home (home office). During the other four days you will be occupied with your customers and projects. This autonomy is what you love. In your region, you work independently, but you will be in touch with your colleagues regularly. You are not alone. You are the eyes and ears of Basalte in the Munich region. You report to the sales director and take part in sales meetings, which are scheduled on a monthly basis. In addition, you will travel to Belgium when necessary, to visit customers or events, or to attend other (company) activities.
