Your mission is to...

contribute to various projects ranging from designing exhibition stands and new office buildings to international showrooms.
identify the right partners to work with the building team. This means finding the right materials, suitable furniture, ... in the Basalte house style. As an expert negotiator you know how to obtain the best quotes and most advantageous deals.
actively contribute to the translation of concepts and ideas into realistic designs and plans.
create your designs using drawing programs such as Vectorworks.
support your building team colleagues and take them in tow when necessary.

are looking for a job that involves every aspect of project guidance.
have a number of years of experience in the world of interior design (design/architecture).
have experience working with Vectorworks and at least a basic knowledge of the Adobe programs: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Knowledge of one or more render programs is an asset.
can read and interpret a (2D) plan at a glance.
adopt a structured yet flexible approach. For instance, you can easily tweak and improve your designs and
oversee their execution because you know what worksite meetings can be like...
combine creativity with a sense of reality and the ability to correctly assess project feasibility.
are fluent in Dutch and English. French and German are definitely a plus.
with a view to designing international showrooms you occasionally visit the various worksites (Germany, the Netherlands, France, the US).
