Technical Support & Test Engineer
Your mission is to...
Combine technical support with a strong hands-on approach. You are closely involved in testing, demonstrating and supporting our solutions and act as a technical point of contact for partners and internal teams.
- You build, maintain and manage test and demo setups and have sufficient product knowledge to correctly use, test and demonstrate our solutions.
- You manage the demo stock and demo spaces, ensuring order, structure and readiness of all materials.
- You provide technical support during trade fairs and events, mainly in-house and occasionally internationally, with flexibility in working hours and physical effort.
- You deliver product and technical trainings and act as a technical specialist for customers and partners.
- You advise customers on the use of our high-end home automation solutions and analyse technical questions or issues in order to provide fast, professional and pragmatic solutions.
We expect you to ...
- Have a strong hands-on, do-it-yourself mindset and enjoy working practically with technology.
- Work in a structured way and take ownership of materials, setups and follow-up.
- Have a technical background in electricity, audio, video or AV installations; experience as a home automation installer is a plus, especially with hands-on experience in pulling cables, drilling and building installations.
- Not be afraid of physical work and be flexible during trade fairs or events, even when working days are longer.
- Be stress-resistant and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Clearly and effectively communicate technical knowledge to customers and colleagues.
- Be a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Be fluent in English and speak at least two of the following languages fluently: Dutch, French, German and/or Spanish.
