Wurrungwuri house by Carter Williams Architects , a waterfront Sydney property transformed into a contemporary work of art.

A perfect blend of design and technology, this KNX smart home integrates extensive systems into one, controlled by sophisticated Basalte products. The full automation system includes home security, audio-visual integration, and geothermal energy management.

The renowned Australian architectural firm, Carter Williamson, transformed a heritage waterfront cottage in Sydney into a contemporary masterpiece. The design seamlessly blends old and new, emphasizing light, connection, and artistic expression. Interconnected voids enhance light and connectivity, merging the 1881 Victorian cottage with its modern extension, creating a timeless, imaginative space perfect for entertaining.

The heritage-listed home's original front was preserved, while an architectural extension was added. The sophisticated Basalte switches allow for intuitive control off the lighting and the smart home functionalities.

Basalte's Sentido and Deseo controls provide unmatched control power in a minimal, refined design, offering a stylish and intelligent solution.

The bronze finish of the Basalte keypads blends perfectly with the timeless design of the home. Achieving a "high-end, but not unapproachable or unwelcoming" aesthetic, the design fluidly transitions between concrete, timber, stone, sandstone and bronze.
