Relive the vibrant magic of Showtime 2025

Showtime returned. Bolder than ever.

On 22 and 23 October 2025, we welcomed our global community of integrators, architects and design visionaries in Belgium. More than 300 Basaltians each day, coming from over 30 countries, gathered to connect, find inspiration and share a genuine passion for intelligent living.

Thank you for being part of the experience, it was simply legendary! ♡

Unveiling five brand-new masterpieces

Showtime 2025 kicked off with our founder and CEO, Klaas Arnout, taking centre stage for an inspiring keynote and unveiling five brand-new masterpieces for the very first time.

Meet Matisse, an iconic new design switch, Super Core, the next-generation server powered by AI, and Miro Pro, our design remote control reinvented. In the audio range, Klaas introduced Aalto F6: a brand-new speaker that fills any space with crystal-clear sound, and Atlas Concerto, which merges a sculptural TV stand and a powerful soundbar into one seamless design piece.

After the keynote, the curtains opened to reveal The Playground, a spacious world of innovation where our design creations truly came to life. For two inspiring days, guests moved through interactive workshops, product showcases and hands-on testing. A highlight was the captivating immersive audio session powered by our Aalto F5 flagship speakers, where Ozark Henry premiered four tracks from his newly released album August Parker.

As a little boy, I dreamed of becoming an inventor. Just like the one in Back to the Future. I suppose, in a way, that’s exactly what I became.
Klaas Arnout, CEO Basalte

Thought leaders on stage

The second day of Showtime opened with an engaging keynote by Steven Van Belleghem, one of the leading voices in customer experience. In The diamond in the rough, he highlighted the gap between customer-centric ambitions and daily reality, showing how many companies promise excellence but deliver only average service. With his trademark energy and humour, Steven shared practical ideas, examples and tools that help teams create the highest-quality experience for their end customers, shaped around their needs and expectations.

Day two continued with an insightful panel discussion led by our sales and marketing director Tom Samyn, featuring Mike Chorney, Thorsten Broich, Tim Belaen and Steven Van Belleghem. They explored the collaboration between architects, system integrators and homeowners, and the challenges that shape these partnerships.

The final keynote featured Ozark Henry, the award-winning Belgian musician, who shared his pioneering journey in 3D immersive sound, a path that led him to TEDx in San Francisco and Google in New York. His universe blends craft with experimentation, audio with visual, and heritage with technology. To close the day, he performed an exclusive acoustic set that transformed Showtime into an intimate concert space, where every note felt close enough to touch.

What if every customer experience carried the same feel-good energy as Top Gun? That’s what I call The Top Gun Effect: pure positivity, zero friction.

Both evenings flowed into a delicious dinner with sparkling glasses and an inviting, magical setting. The conversations lingered, the atmosphere deepened and time seemed to slow just a little. And of course, we didn’t stop there. The dancefloor lit up and the celebrations continued.
