A Belgian historic townhouse, once neglected and at risk of losing its soul, has been exquisitely restored by Mathias Steenhuyse from Steenhuyse Signature Spaces.

With a modern touch that respects its 19th-century heritage, this transformation has created a harmonious blend of past elegance and contemporary sophistication.  The Sentido design switches elevate the interior, adding refined finishes in satin white, brushed brass, and brushed black, which enrich the array of materials used throughout the home.  From the striking Calacatta Verde kitchen island to the warm library in dark oak veneer, the integration of Sentido seamlessly complements the home’s curated palette, marrying modern convenience with timeless style.

This restoration reflects the owners’ vision for a residence that honours its history while embracing today's design and technology – a timeless retreat where Basalte’s intuitive controls and crafted finishes align effortlessly with the understated grandeur of Belgian architecture.
