This week, the Basalte Deseo thermostat won the GOOD Design Award for its innovative, inventive and contemporary design! This recognition places Basalte again between other visionary industry leaders such as Porsche, Google, Hublot and Microsoft. It also follows previous awards for our Sentido design switch (2014) and elegant iPad table mount (2015).
This GOOD Design award program was originally founded in 1950 by a.o. Charles & Ray Eames. Today, it's organised by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, in cooperation with European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
The international jury of design professionals especially appreciated Deseo's minimalist design, high-quality metal finish range and simple usability during the judging in New York and Los Angeles. The Deseo intelligent thermostat works exclusively with KNX and Crestron home automation systems.
